Extremist

Those wonderful people who take things way beyond anything that is reasonable.

The people I am taking about are those fine "Pro Life" people who have shot doctors and bombed medical facilities, those fine upstanding people at the Westboro Baptist Church who think it is a fine godly thing to push hate at people who have just lost a friend/brother/son, and those who proclaim that Islam is the faith of peace as they set off explosives in market places full of people.

Extremists are out there, in all walks of life, in all social classes, and all races. They are the ones who are destroying our world by drawing a line in the sand and dividing us into little groups of fighting individuals. They are not interested in making things better, or following the holy book of their choice, they want us all to fight amongst ourselves so that they can feel better about the power they are holding over us.

Personally, I don't care if you don't like gays, or if you think Allah is the one and true God, or whatever it is you think is the way it should be. You are entitled to your beliefs, just as I am mine, so kept them to yourself until I ask you for them and I promise to keep mine to myself. And if you want to stand up and rant and rave about it, be prepared to be laughed at because if your life is so focused that you can't see beyond the end of your nose, a little laughter will do you a world of good.

A little more laughter from us all will do the world a world of good
